Sorghum

Thanks to its genetic origin from the African continent, sorghum is adaptable to the most difficult climatic conditions: tropical heat and low relative humidity, lack of precipitation and unfavorable pedological characteristics of the land. Under the mentioned challenging conditions, sorghum can carry vegetation to the end and at the same time ensure grain yield.
✔ In case of heat wave, i.e. in extreme conditions, sorghum stops its growth and waits for precipitation, and only then resumes development
✔ The wax coating on the leaves and stem protects the plant from transpiration, ie reduces water evaporation
✔ Thanks to it’s panicle-type inflorescences, raindrops do not accumulate; the panicle is constantly exposed to fresh air and has high breathability, so the possibility of mycotoxins appearing in the grain is significantly lower or even impossible.
