Our Commitments
Our commitments
By supporting farmers through the agricultural transition and helping bring high-quality food to the market, we are building an agile, resilient model that is constantly improving, with the aim of creating value.
As farmers, customers and colleagues of a group and its businesses, we are committed day in, day out, to making sustainability a pillar of our development.
For farmers, we develop high-potential channels based on approaches to farming that are sustainable in both environmental and economic terms. We encourage the agronomic and combinatorial solutions that are best adapted to our territories and our environment, support farmers in all their diversity, and seek out the best markets for our members’ production.
Working with them, we are advancing towards practices that make a positive contribution to the preservation of resources, ensure grain produced is safe and hygienic, support biodiversity and make decision-making tools an integral part of technical itineraries.
The agricultural transition is under way in both crop and livestock production, and it is bringing all farmers together. Close links between farmers and consumers are even more important now than ever before. They will help us build the food model of the future.
We are fully committed to ensuring that, at our origination facilities and on our processing sites alike, all our products meet the highest standards of food safety and nutritional value, environmental protection and respect for people. We believe in developing a range of markets – local, national and international – so that we can bring as many consumers as possible products that meet their wide-ranging expectations.
The agricultural transition is under way in both crop and livestock production, and it is bringing all farmers together. Close links between farmers and consumers are even more important now than ever before.
Our certifications
GMP+ B3
The GMP+ Feed Safety Assurance is an internationally recognised group of standards that has been established around the world with the idea of helping companies to achieve a safe feed chain. More than 18,000 companies are certified.
Axereal Hungary Kft. has achieved GMP+ B3 certification to comply with European Union feed safety principles and to directly serve the end users of the production chain. Our direct service to feed blending plants and mills also requires a high level of quality control.
GMP+ can guarantee us efficient operation and compliance with international and national requirements. It provides added value to our crops and is in line with our commitment and willingness to feed the world with high quality cereals.
ISCC EU – ISCC Plus SAI Gold
The European Union has made renewable energy a priority and is committed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The main alternative is sustainably produced biofuels.
With the ISCC EU scheme, it is easy to determine whether our crops, which are the feedstock for biomass and liquid biofuels, have been produced with or without meeting sustainability requirements.
ISCC certification therefore demonstrates our company's sense of responsibility and commitment:
- Reducing greenhouse gas emissions
- Sustainable land use
- Protecting the natural biosphere
- Increasing social sustainability
ISCC PLUS certification offers us the opportunity to extend our sustainability principles not only to the biofuels market, but also to other areas. With this certification, we ensure that our wheat and malting barley production is also given increased attention from an ecosystem perspective.
Among other things, our producers are required to make declarations on areas such as crop rotation, soil conservation, nutrient management, pesticide use and greenhouse gas emissions.
ISCC certification makes it easier for us to trade both nationally and internationally and gives us another step in our "Good for you, Good for the planet" mission.
